MARION AND TAYLOR COUNTIES HAVE BEEN AWARDED FEDERAL FUNDS MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY/FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY UNDER THE EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER NATIONAL BOARD PROGRAM. 


CARES ACT

Marion County has been chosen to receive $37,808 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county through the CARES Act.
Taylor County has been chosen to receive $11,292 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county through the CARES Act.

PHASE 37

Marion County has been chosen to receive $26,519 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county through Phase 37.
Taylor County has been chosen to receive $7,920 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county through Phase 37.

All applications for CARES and Phase 37 are due by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.  Agencies do not have to be a United Way agency to apply.
